As a woman though, Deborah didn't take part in the fight to follow her love or to enjoy adventure. The motivation was actually the advice of a diviner. She was inspired and decided to put on her own hand-made armor and join the heavy infantry.
The heavy infantry's mission is primarily to cover a retreat, flank or charge in the front. Therefore only the strongest ones in the army are qualified to join it. Deborah, however, didn’t hold back the team for her gender. On the contrary, she knew how to make good use of her armor and skills to perform better than the others.
After that, no one ever doubted if Deborah was incapable, and they even gave her a heroic title, Iron Fist.
